The Taproom
We brew beer onsite and serve it in our spacious taproom. It’s an indoor + outdoor venue, with glass walls that fully open up to the 12th Street Pedestrian Plaza. We have lots of seating, with a long marble bar and plenty of tables. While reservations generally just aren’t necessary, we know some people like to reserve tables for large groups. 12th Street
Our address is on a Pedestrian Plaza, permanently shut off to traffic. It’s filled with picnic tables, planters, and an ‘ancient glacier rock,’ about which we know very little, unfortunately. Focal Point consists of several buildings - our brewing facility, taproom, tasting room, yard, and taco shop - all located along 12th Street.
The Tasting Room

We offer a wide variety of beer styles. This includes easy-drinking lagers and ales as well as hazy ipa and fruited sours. We also offer cider, wine, spirits, and cocktails, along with a full selection of soft drinks. See the full menu here…

Sobremesa is our neighbor taco shop, offering a full menu of Mexican fare. Just walk next door to place your food order and they’ll buzz you when you can pick it up! They also have party platters for large groups. Check out the menu here…
Food
Sam brews all of our beer on a 15bbl brewhouse and three 30bbl fermenters. We don’t offer official brewery tours, but if you have a group that is interested in a casual peak behind the curtain, let us know! Contact us here…
The Brewery
We’re family friendly, dog friendly, and wheelchair accessible. It’s possible to find parking nearby, the area, and we’re located super close to Court Square E/M/G and Queensbridge F and Queensboro Plaza N/W
